Sr Sourcing Manager, Celebrations
Work with Category Management and Commercialization teams to coordinate new/LTO menu item recipe validation, and prepare and send new/LTO ingredient projections to respective buyers; request product cost and supplier readiness validation.
Prepare celebration projections spreadsheetsnew/unique ingredients (increases) and deletions & reduced usage (reductions). Include all ingredients impacted by new/LTO menu items, menu items on promotion, menu items removed from promotion and menu items deleted. Also include packaging impactnew and deleted packaging plus existing packaging significantly impacted by menu changes.
Serve as Souring contact for cafes that have questions regarding force shipments, didnt receive, etc.
Work with Ops to determine new/LTO ingredients, packaging and small wares to be stocked for training.
After cascading training complete, follow up on caf credits for product shipped and rebilling. Also deal with all types of variances across locations.
Provide Field Communications Team sourcing info and be the sourcing resource for Field Communications Team.
Provide backup support to Commercialization Team for:
- Marketing Shoot product orders.
- Commercialization Team product orders.
- Senior Management Team presentation product orders.
- Other direct shipment product requests.
- Small wares product orders for all tests.
- Test Project Update spreadsheet maintenance
- Test item obsolescence
- Culinary Driven Lab/Prototype Tests
Key manager for Culinary Driven Versioning Tests and Test Expansions Send test setup instructions with new ingredient/packaging projections, initial order quantities, all due dates, list of eliminated/blocked items, and effective date of item block & caf list.
Key manager for Sourcing Driven Tests Matched Ingredient Commercialization; work with respective buyer to determine scale of test, glide path and timing for testing ingredient.
Requirements for this role:
7+ years of both Sourcing and Cross-functional Food industry experience
Must be skilled in MS Excel
7+ years Food industry experience a must; restaurant experience in particular a huge plus
Superb communication and collaboration skills
Must be technically savvy
Excellent project management and organizational skills are paramount to this role
Strong Food industry knowledge of culinary, operations, sourcing, marketing and field resources a huge plus
