Job description

  • The primary responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Nutrition Manager include supporting all platforms that hold nutritional data, upholding Paneras Food Policy clean commitment and ensuring compliance with federal and local nutrition regulations, alongside the Nutrition Senior Managers.

Essential responsibilities

  • Form good working relationships with ingredient suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain integrity of nutritional data in Paneras Nutrition and Labeling Software
  • Manage nutrition related documentation in Paneras document management system
  • Manage nutrition related projects from ideation through rollout of the product
  • Provide technical expertise regarding nutrition related topics
  • Assist Paneras Consumer Business & Support Service team with answering guests nutrition related questions
  • Engage and build relationships with other industry nutrition professionals through the National Restaurant Associations Nutrition Executive Study Group

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelors Degree in nutrition, nutrition science, dietetics, or food science, required
  • Nutrition and allergen analysis experience required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of total business experience in restaurant or corporate nutrition
  • Broad understanding of nutrition regulations and trends
  • Familiar with restaurant food-service operations
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with MS Outlook and Genesis R&D Food Formulation & Labeling Software
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in faced paced environment
  • Proven experience working with cross functional teams to ensure project advancement
  • Demonstrated ability in building relationships and strategic alliances while motivating both internal teams and suppliers to meet strategic objectives
  • Self-starter capable of maintaining efficient work schedule with minimal supervision
  • Must have a positive attitude and be energetic
